Aura Cotton is a high-quality and impressive "cake" made from 100% cotton. The yarn consists of four fine, untwisted cotton strands, making it ideal for projects such as shawls, blankets, or scarves. The long, harmonious color repeats come into their own especially well.
Aura Cotton is available in many dreamy color combinations. The large 200-gram skeins offer an impressive length of approx. 800 meters. Some variants are characterized by a popular tone-on-tone color change, where the colors transition strand by strand. At the transition points there is a small knot in one of the four strands. You can simply work over this knot, as many do, or carefully remove it and sew the strand in on the back. This makes the color gradient even and produces a fantastic result—whether you knit or crochet.
The yarn’s color gradient is particularly appealing and changes gently between light and dark shades—depending on whether you start from the inside or the outside of the skein.
EasyStart: When started from the inside, the starting thread is marked with a tag, making it easier to find the center.
